Company you can trust. The guys are honest and friendly. Very helpful, great advice, did an excellent and clean job. I cannot recommend enough.

Avoid at all costs. Had an opinion for damp in master bedroom in 2017 and they quoted an expensive job (around £2000), which made me panic and think it was a serious problem. They told me there was a leak so I thought I should get it fixed asap with winter and Christmas coming up. Scaffold went up and they were at the property for 2 days max. Scaffold stayed up for weeks. Job made no difference to said “leak”, then later I was told it was condensation after all. I was furious as this was never even suggested to me beforehand. Disputed, but I was never given any compensation. They offered installing some “vents” in the roof space to aid ventilation (said worth £240, but took no more than 5 minutes to put in and cheap plastic material so couldn’t have been more than £50). Too stressful to take to small claims court as they changed their story when asked for a statement. Condensation worse since as they put eaves trays in to make it more airtight so ventilation is poorer. Dishonest and complete waste of money. Service: Roof repair

I've used SMARTROOFINGWORKS a few times now for guttering and roof repairs. I've had a few roofers do odd jobs before but Smart are by far the most reliable, most professional and most communicative of any. They answer emails and text messages quickly and are clear and honest about what needs doing. I was given two options to repair my dormer roof - a £500 patch job that might last a year or so, or a complete new membrane that would cost £2000. No pressure was exerted either way and it was clearly explained what problems the larger job would prevent. Completed on time, I was very happy with the results. I’ve used Smart Roofing a few times now for various issues we have had with our roof and Richard and Joe from Smart Roofing are always really helpful, are quick to respond and their services are very reasonably priced. The work they have done for us has always been to a high standard and they are very easy to deal with.

Great service all round. I needed plant growth removed from my chimney stack. Smart Roofing were able to come out and provide a decent quote very quickly and the job was done within a week. The workman was friendly and punctual. Highly recommend.

Poor! Came to look at our leak and told us that the wall was just drying out and that we did not need any work to repair the leak. A few days after, we had more rain and the roof has got steadily worse. Do not recommend, as I believe if the job isn't big enough! they are not interested.
