My mother (95 years old) went to Ty Enfys for about a month before she died. She had very good care, both nursing and social. My father was able to stay for 2 weeks before she died which was very comforting. My father (93) is now being cared for in Ty Enfys. He wasn't coping at home and when he had a urinary tract infection it all got a worse. He is now well looked after, in spite of his grumpiness, and says he 'feels safe', which is wonderful. On recent visits there have been animals, Indian dancers, sing along etc so there is plenty of activity. The home was by far the best we could find when my mother needed a nursing care and it has maintained that standard. They seem very innovative with a lovely 'caring dog' Teddy, and the coffee shop is great to take my father down to - a change of scene and some normality. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
